Conversation Between A New Student And The Teacher

विद्यार्थी : क्या मैं अंदर आ सकता हूँ, श्रीमान?
Student : May I come in sir?
अध्यापक : हाँ, कृपया अंदर आ जाइए.
Teacher : Yes, please come in. 
विद्यार्थी : श्रीमान, मैंने ‘अंग्रेजी बोलना सीखने वाले कोर्स’ में प्रवेश लिया है.
Student : Sir, I’ve taken admission in ‘English Speaking Learning Course’.
अध्यापक : बहुत अच्छा, आपका स्वागत है.
Teacher : That’s very good. You’re welcome.
विद्यार्थी : धन्यवाद श्रीमान.
Student : Thank you sir.
अध्यापक : आपका नाम क्या है?
Teacher : What’s your name?
विद्यार्थी : श्रीमान, मेरा नाम राकेश शर्मा है.
Student : Sir,  my name is Rakesh Sharma.  
अध्यापक : आपकी शैक्षिक योग्यता क्या है?
Teacher : What’s your educational qualification?
विद्यार्थी : श्रीमान, मैंने पिछले वर्ष एम.ए. किया है.
Student : Sir, I passed M.A. last year.  
अध्यापक : आप कहाँ के रहने वाले हैं?
Teacher : Where do you belong to?
विद्यार्थी : श्रीमान, मैं अलवर (राजस्थान) का निवासी हूँ.
Student : Sir, I belong to Alwar (Rajasthan). 
अध्यापक : आप यहाँ दिल्ली में कहाँ रह रहे हैं?
Teacher : Where are you residing in Delhi?
विद्यार्थी : मैं यहाँ एक किराये के मकान में रह रहा हूँ.
Student : I’m residing in a rented house here.
अध्यापक : आप दिल्ली में और क्या करते हैं?
Teacher : What more you do in Delhi?
विद्यार्थी : श्रीमान, मैं एम.बी.ए. हेतु तैयारी कर रहा हूँ.
Student : Sir, I’m  preparing for M.B.A.
अध्यापक : आपके पिताजी क्या करते  हैं?
Teacher : What’s your father?
विद्यार्थी : श्रीमान, मेरे पिताजी एक राष्ट्रीयकृत बैंक में वरिष्ठ प्रबंधक हैं.
Student : Sir, my father is a senior manager in a nationalized bank. 
अध्यापक : आपके शौक क्या हैं?
Teacher : What are your hobbies?
विद्यार्थी : श्रीमान, मेरे शौक बागवानी और उपन्यास पढ़ना है.
Student : Sir, my hobbies are gardening and reading novels.
अध्यापक : आपके जीवन का ध्येय क्या है?
Teacher : What’s your aim in life?
विद्यार्थी : मैं एक प्रसिद्ध कंपनी का मुख्य अधिकारी बनना चाहता हूँ.
Student : I want to become a Chief Executive of a reputed company.
अध्यापक : आप अंग्रेजी बोलना क्यों सीखना चाहते हैं?
Teacher : Why do you want to learn speaking English?
विद्यार्थी : श्रीमान, मैं अंग्रेजी बोल सकता हूँ लेकिन मैं बिना रुके अंग्रेजी बोलना चाहता हूँ.
Student : Sir, I can speak English but I want to speak English fluently.  
अध्यापक : अच्छा है. मुझे यकीन है कि यदि आप मेहनत करेंगे, तो तीन महीने में आपकी अंग्रेजी सुधर जायेगी और आप सरलता से बिना रुके बोल सकेंगे.
Teacher : That’s fine.  I’m sure if you work hard, your English will be improved within three months and you will be able to speak quite fluently.
विद्यार्थी : आपका धन्यवाद, श्रीमान.
Student : Thank you sir.
अध्यापक : आपका स्वागत है.
Teacher : You’re welcome.

An Uncle And A Boy

सोनू : हेलो अंकल, सायंकाल की नमस्ते. 
Sonu : Hello uncle, good evening.
अंकल : नमस्ते सोनू बेटे. अन्दर आओ.
Uncle : Good evening Sonu my son. Come in.
सोनू : धन्यवाद अंकल. क्या पीयूष घर पर है?
Sonu : Thank you uncle. Is Piyush at home?
अंकल : नहीं, वो तो बाज़ार गया है. और बताओ, कैसे आना हुआ?
Uncle : No, he has gone to market. Well, tell me, what brings you here?
सोनू : आज मैं स्कूल नहीं गया था. इसलिए गृहकार्य के बारे में पूँछने आया था.
Sonu : Today I couldn’t go to school. So, I wanted to ask about homework.
अंकल : ठीक है. वह आता ही होगा. आओ तब तक बात करें.
Uncle : That’s good. He would be coming in a short while. Let’s talk till then.
सोनू : जी अंकल.
Sonu : Of course, uncle.    
अंकल : तो सोनू, पढ़ाई कैसी चल रही है?
Uncle : Well Sonu, how is your study going on?
सोनू : बिलकुल ठीक.
Sonu : It’s all right.
अंकल : तुम किस कक्षा में हो?
Uncle : In which class are you?
सोनू : कक्षा छ: में.
Sonu : In class six.
अंकल : किस वर्ग में?
Uncle : In which section?
सोनू : वर्ग सी में.
Sonu : In section C.
अंकल : तुम्हारे कक्षा अध्यापक कौन हैं?
Uncle : Who’s your class teacher?
सोनू : श्री पाठक हमारे कक्षा अध्यापक हैं.
Sonu : Mr. Pathak is our class teacher.
अंकल : वह तुम्हें क्या पढ़ाते हैं?
Uncle : What does he teach you?
सोनू : वह हमें विज्ञान पढ़ाते हैं.
Sonu : He teaches us Science.
अंकल : तुम्हारी कक्षा में कितने छात्र हैं?
Uncle : How many students are there in your class?
सोनू : 35 छात्र हैं.
Sonu : There are 35 students.
अंकल : तुम्हारी कक्षा का मॉनिटर कौन है?
Uncle : Who is your class monitor?
सोनू : शुभम् गुप्ता.
Sonu : It’s Shubham Gupta.
अंकल : तुम्हारी कक्षा का सबसे अच्छा विद्यार्थी कौन है?
Uncle : Who is the best student of your class?
सोनू : रचना कोहली.
Sonu : It’s Rachna Kohli.
अंकल : तुम्हारा सबसे पक्का दोस्त कौन है?
Uncle : Who is your best friend?
सोनू : पीयूष ही मेरा सबसे पक्का दोस्त है.
Sonu : It’s Piyush who is my best friend.
अंकल : तुम स्कूल कैसे जाते हो?
Uncle : How do you go to school?
सोनू : साइकिल से.
Sonu : By cycle.
अंकल : तुम्हारे शौक क्या है?
Uncle : What are your hobbies?
सोनू : अंकल, मुझे क्रिकेट खेलना और इंटरनेट चलाना पसंद है.
Sonu : Uncle, playing cricket and surfing internet.
अंकल : और भविष्य में तुम क्या बनना चाहते हो?
Uncle : And what do you want to be in future?
सोनू : मैं डॉक्टर बनना चाहता हूँ.
Sonu : I want to be a doctor.
अंकल : तब तो तुम्हें बहुत पढाई करनी चाहिए.
Uncle : Then you will have to study hard. 
सोनू : जी अंकल.
Sonu : Yes uncle.

Conversation At A Clinic

मरीज़ : नमस्ते डॉक्टर साहब.
Patient : Good evening doctor.
डॉक्टर : नमस्ते. बैठिये.
Doctor : Good evening doctor. Please be seated.
मरीज़ : धन्यवाद.
Patient : Thank you.
डॉक्टर : आपका नाम?
Doctor : Your name?
मरीज़ : शान्तनु मिश्र.
Patient : Shantanu Mishra.
डॉक्टर : उम्र?
Doctor : Age?
मरीज़ : बत्तीस वर्ष.
Patient : Thirty two years.
डॉक्टर : क्या तकलीफ़ है?
Doctor : What’s the problem?
मरीज़ : मुझे बुखार है और खांसी भी.
Patient : I have fever and coughing also.
(डॉक्टर नब्ज़ पकड़ता है.)
(Doctor feels the pulse.)
डॉक्टर : कब से?
Doctor : Since when?
मरीज़ : कल रात से.
Patient : Since last night.
डॉक्टर : क्या कंपकंपी लगती है?
Doctor : Do you feel shivering?
मरीज़ : हाँ, बुखार चढ़ने के समय.
Patient : Yes, at the time of rising of temperature.
डॉक्टर : मुँह दिखाइए. जीभ बाहर निकालिए.
Doctor : Show your mouth. Take out the tongue.
(डॉक्टर टॉर्च से मुँह और जीभ का निरीक्षण करता है.)
 (Doctor checks the mouth and tongue with the help of torch.)
डॉक्टर : खांसी सूखी है?
Doctor : Is it dry cough?
मरीज़ : हाँ.
Patient : Yes.
डॉक्टर : कोई और दिक्कत?
Doctor : Any other problem?
मरीज़ : हाँ, डॉक्टर साहब. बहुत कमजोरी लगती है और भूख नहीं लगती है. सिरदर्द भी है.
Patient : Yes, doctor. I feel much weakness and there is lack of appetite. I have a headache also.
डॉक्टर : मैं दवाएं लिख रहा हूँ. किसी मेडिकल स्टोर से ले लीजिये. मॉडर्न पैथोलॉजी से खून की जांच करवा लें. आजकल मलेरिया बहुत आम है.
Doctor : I’m prescribing the medicines. Buy them from any medical store. Get your blood tested at Modern Pathology. Nowadays malaria is very common.  
मरीज़ : जी डॉक्टर साहब. कोई कफ़ सीरप भी लिख दीजियेगा. रात में खांसी के कारण सो नहीं पाता हूँ.
Patient : Yes, doctor. Also prescribe some cough syrup. I can’t sleep at night because of coughing.
डॉक्टर : मैंने पहले ही लिख दिया है. लापरवाही मत कीजियेगा. रक्त जांच की रिपोर्ट कल मुझे अवश्य दिखाइएगा.  
Doctor :  I have already prescribed it. Don’t be careless. Please do show me the blood report tomorrow.
मरीज़ : जी डॉक्टर साहब. कोई परहेज़?
Patient : Yes, doctor. Any precaution?
डॉक्टर : सादा भोजन. लें. आराम करें. नियमित दवा लें. और कोई ख़ास परहेज़ नहीं.
Doctor : Take light food and complete rest. Take medicine regularly. No any specific precaution.
मरीज़ : जी अच्छा. आपकी फीस?
Patient :Yes, sure. Your fee?
डॉक्टर : उस काउंटर पर जमा कर दें.
Doctor : Deposit it at that counter.
मरीज़ : अच्छा धन्यवाद डॉक्टर साहब.
Patient : O.K. Thank you doctor.
डॉक्टर : ठीक है. अपना ख्याल रखें.  
Doctor : It’s all right. Take care.
